Hope is more than just wishful thinking and having optimism. When someone has hope, they know that they will have obstacles, but they believe they can get through them and come out stronger because of them. Hope allows us to keep going even when we feel like giving up. It gives us a reason to live and fight another day. This is why we need to provide hope to the families we serve—helping them realize that things will get better with hard work and determination. In 2020, our clients’ hope increased by 10% after completing a program at Family Builders.

Father’s Day Festival

This year Family Builder’s hosted our very first Father’s Day Festival at Scissortail Park. With most of our clients being fathers, we decided to do something special for them to honor their role. We had 19 vendors, inflatables for the children, OKC fire departments touch a truck, raffle giveaways, and more! It was a great celebration for the fathers that we serve in our community.
